Homicide investigators have also identified a 62-year-old man who was killed early Wednesday on the city s Northeast Side.
Officers were called around 3:20 a.m. Wednesday to a Sunoco gas station on the 1700 block of East Hudson Street on the city s Northeast Side.
They found David Gaines, 62, of North Linden, who had been shot. Gaines was rushed to OhioHealth Grant Medical Center, but he died from his injuries at 4:19 a.m. Wednesday. His death was the city s eighth homicide this year. ....
