Michigan was passing a lot more in this year than we've seen from traditional Harbaugh outfits, and even by that standard this game was pretty extremely tilted to throwing the ball. Sometimes that's the gameplan, and it makes sense to be with a Heisman-candidate at quarterback. Except I don't think that's the story here. Michigan's offense would love to run the ball, and their opponents would love to take that away from them. Again, Purdue was an extreme.
