The move follows Strike achieving a maximum capacity of 33 terajoules/day and 265 barrels/day of condensate at at its Walyering gas field in Western Australia
It has started the export of sales gas into the Parmelia gas pipeline under its commissioning arrangements with fellow Australian energy company Santos.
As a result of the transaction, Talon shareholders will own approximately 11% of Strike.
It has now started the process of engaging with potential suppliers for the engineering, procurement and fabrication contract.
The gas will be sourced from Perth basin and delivered into the Western Australian (WA) gas transportation network.
