SUNDAY WORSHIP SERVICE Sunday, 11am, Princeton University Chapel Join us each Sunday for worship in the University Chapel, led by the dean and the associate dean of religious life and of the chapel, that draws students, faculty, staff, and townspeople together to hear God’s word, to sing God’s praise, to lift up the University in prayer. Each season, marvelous guest preachers are invited to preachin the chapel as well. We hope you can join us! All persons, including members of the broader community, are welcome to attend this event if they are fully vaccinated against Covid-19 if over age 12. Keep the Faith: Reflections on Easter and its Hymns The Rev. Paul E. Gramit Easter is, of course, the commemoration of the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ from the dead. He’d been executed by crucifixion the Friday prior (in spite of being found not guilty). He was not just severely wounded or in some sort of unconscious state; He was actually dead, thus further proven by the spearing of His side, as blood and water came out separated. Likewise, on that first Easter Sunday, the third day (Friday being the first), He who was dead was now alive again, in the same body, yet glorified. He appeared to His apostles, and, later, hundreds of His other disciples also, as we learn from Holy Scripture (1 Corinthians 5:16). ....
