The city of Myrtle Beach may be renting seven apartments at 7th Avenue North and Chester Street for $1,500 a month to two contractors for their employees.
The proposed ordinance was discussed during Tuesday's city council meeting. And if it is approved by city council, seven apartments on city-owned property on the corner of Chester Street and 7th Avenue would be rented out to contractors working in the arts and innovation district.
