That s what the new Tennessee-based owner of the 120-unit Landmark Apartments, 1050 Hobbit St., just south of the Prospect Road and South Shields Street intersection, plans to do.
Brickstone Partners, which just purchased Landmark and Stone Creek apartments in Boulder for $81 million, plans to convert all 72 two-bedroom apartments into three-bedroom, two-bath units and market them to students, said Jeff Dawson of Studio Development Services, Brickstone s representative. 
Designed in the 1980s, the apartments were designed with some extra space in the living area that s not that usable, Dawson said. We plan to use it in a more efficient way.   ....
