A teacher who has dedicated herself to instilling "a passion for languages" in her pupils is in the running for TES Schools Awards.
The prestigious awards programme, which has been dubbed the 'Oscars of education', celebrates the best of education across the UK.
A pupil from Corbridge Middle School has been named as the winner of a national competition.
“We received around 70 applications from the students, and among them, 15 were selected to contest the election. Students from 8th, 9th, and 10th grades were eligible to contest in the election, while the students from 6th Grade to 10th Grade were eligible to exercise their franchise to select the members for Student Council and Head Boy and Head Girl,’’ said Anjali Nayak, a teacher.
