Teresa Maria Linda Scholz was named New Mexico State University’s first-ever vice president for equity, inclusion and diversity on April 21, 2021.
LAS CRUCES – Following a national search, Teresa Maria Linda Scholz has been selected as New Mexico State University’s first vice president for equity, inclusion and diversity.
The search committee for the position was appointed in August 2020. The university states in a news release that the new position was inspired by a need for NMSU to take strong action toward creating an environment that reflects the diverse population at NMSU, and to provide opportunities and tools for students and employees. ....
