A TRADESMAN who undertook building work on three properties which ultimately left the owners out of pocket has avoided an immediate jail term.
Special class contractor, MTDC, W Ratan Kumar Singh has withdrawn Rs 70 lakhs of the project cost of Rs 5,01,05,337 on July 1 of last year and it has been 15 months since and even the foundation work is at a standstill without progress, LOWA stated.
