Donald Trump’s social network has lost $73m (£59m) since its launch last year and there is “substantial doubt” about its ability to keep operating, according to US filings.

The New York-based workspace-sharing company said Tuesday that its ability to stay in operation is contingent upon its ability to improve its liquidity and profitability over the next 12 months.

WeWork issued a so-called going concern warning to investors Tuesday — saying that it had "substantial doubt" that it can continue as a business.

WeWork is struggling to survive in a post-pandemic world. In announcing its earnings today, the flexible space provider said that “substantial doubt exists about the company’s ability to continue as a going concern.” WeWork has faced a number of challenges for years now, and with so many companies abandoning office space and more people being able to work remotely, demand for its co-working spaces has steadily declined over time.
