Tragedy at the Nasarawa State University, Keffi, as no fewer than two female students of the Nasarawa State University, Keffi, reportedly died during a stampede that occurred at the university’s convocation square on Friday morning.
The Alliance on Surviving Covid-19 and Beyond (ASCAB) has urged the Nasarawa State Police Command to investigate the allegations of criminal negligence that led to the death of two students during a stampede on Friday. Two students of the Nasarawa State University, Keffi were killed in a stampede during the distribution of palliatives. Several other students reportedly sustained varying degrees of injury as a result of the stampede. ASCAB also asked the state government and the university authorities to compensate the families of the two students.
