EJ Obiena had a great start to 2021 and he expects that it's going to get even better.
The Philippine athletics star confidently said he is in his best shape in his entire career as the Tokyo 2020 Olympics draws near.
"This is the strongest I have ever been, I'm faster than I've ever been, so it's a very good place where I'm at right now," said Obiena in the Summit Natural Drinking Water virtual press conference.
Obiena kicked off the year on a high note that he managed to reset the national indoor pole vault record 3 times.

Christmas Virtual Run for a Cause Sent Aids to LGUs

Going around the pandemic restrictions via a digital campaign, the 7-Eleven Christmas Virtual Run for a Cause 2020 culminated with the donation of 40,000 care packages to various local government units all over the Philippines. Each care package contained grocery items worth P500, which amounted to a total value of P20M.

During the last two weeks of December 2020, 7-Eleven sent the care packages to the first batch of LGUs. The leading LGUs were Cebu City with 7,200 packages, Davao City with 6,600, Marikina City with 4,000, and Manila City with 3,000. The LGU of Tagum City in Davao del Norte has also already accepted 1,000 care packages.

Metro Manila (CNN Philippines) - The country's go-to convenience chain 7-Eleven ended 2020 on a high note with the company's first-ever virtual run held from Nov. 30-Dec. 12.
The 7-Eleven Christmas Virtual Run for a Cause 2020 was an excellent way to not only avoid crowds while staying healthy and active during the holiday season but also to give to those who are in need.
"2020 has been a challenging year for everyone. The 7-Eleven Christmas Virtual Run is our way of turning things around for us and the participants, end the year in high spirits and start fresh in 2021," said Jose Victor Paterno, president, and chief executive officer of Philippine Seven Corporation.
