'This is wholesale neglect': Broward schools let elevator maintenance slide for years – Sun Sentinel
Investigation: The South Florida Sun Sentinel found that about two-thirds of Broward school district elevators — 162 out of 236 — failed to have a 2022 certificate of occupancy, as of April 30. This means either they haven’t been inspected in more than a year or their last inspection resulted in violations that have yet to be fixed.
