Camp Lejeune Toxic Water Survivors to hold event in Jacksonville

Survivors of exposure to toxic water at Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune are gathering in Onslow County this month to spread awareness and petition for justice. An outreach event scheduled for three locations in Jacksonville on Tuesday, April 20 has been organized by members of the Camp Lejeune Toxic Water Survivors Facebook group, a community of more than 16,500 members.  Advocates will be at the following locations from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.: The old Chuck E. GRANTS PASS, Ore. —The city of Grants Pass is hoping to help locals in need with additional housing, by applying for an Oregon Community Foundation grant. It hopes to open a Project Turnkey facility after other ones are in the works in Ashland and Medford.
