Little detail is included in the proposal, however works are set to include installing a new 35m pole at the site at 165-183 Dales Road. New South Wales-based company Stilmark Holdings has submitted plans to Sunshine Coast Council for a new telecommunications facility at Chevallum. The application was lodged by the New South Wales-based company Stilmark Holdings. The owners of the land, Rhys and Joanne Willemse, have given their written consent to the application. According to the proposal, Stilmark operates as an infrastructure provider or “neutral host”, which means it designs, builds and maintains the facilities which are then used by carriers.

Sunshine Coast Council has invited tenders for the design and implementation of an "ePlan solution for the new planning scheme". The tender documents state the current Sunshine Coast Planning Scheme 2014 was a 2000-page Microsoft Word document which included six schedules and two appendices. Each update of the scheme required a "lengthy process of extracting pages, editing content, quality control, converting documents and reinserting the edited pages to create a complete document" with the Word document converted to PDF to enable publishing on the council's website.
Owners of 41 Anzac Ave and 37 Hinley Ave, Gregory and Robyn Biggs, have given consent to the application for the proposed residential development. The proposal involves the construction of eight residential townhouses on the 1230 sqm site, currently occupied by the two homes. The application stated it would feature eight units, with six two-bedroom and two three-bedroom. The units will be broken into two buildings with each containing three two-bedroom units and one three-bedroom units. The building will be separated by two visitor car spaces, as well as another parking space and room for bike and motorcycle parks. Each unit is proposed to have a private open space area in excess of 20 sqm with a minimum dimension of 3.5m or greater.
