DeSantis move to punish Disney threatens tiny water district hundreds of miles away in Broward
Gov. Ron DeSantis’ decision to go after Disney — a move the Legislature is rushing to complete this week — is creating collateral damage more than 200 miles away in Broward County. The Sunshine Water Control District, which provides drainage and flood protection in Coral Springs, and five other districts would be dissolved on June 1, 2023.
