Solar projects possible at two municipal properties
SMITHFIELD – Smithfield will send out requests for proposals to look into all options for solar projects on two town properties and other solar initiatives. In addition, the town will work with Solicitor Anthony Gallone to draft a potential amendment to the solar ordinance to expand the lot coverage restrictions on the Sand Trace gravel pit of Clarence Thurber Drive and the landfill off Ridge Road.
