Wicked Local Weymouth Evening High School Principal Michele Prendergast said although in-person classes had not been held for a year because of the COVID-19 pandemic, graduates will have an in-person ceremony. Runcie is resigning with a 90-day notice period beginning today, so he will continue on as an employee until August 10th, 2021. District Attorney Walter Harvey says Runcie will not serve in the Superintendent position, but he will be on hand to help transition his replacement.
