Don Stratton USS Arizona Survivor Exhibit Relocated to Pikes Peak Library District East Library
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) After two years at the Colorado Springs Airport, the Don Stratton USS Arizona Survivor Exhibit has relocated to the Pikes Peak Library District East Library.
The Pikes Peak Legacy Heroes Foundation, hopes that having it here will expose more people to this powerful piece of history.
Don Stratton, a survivor of the USS Arizona and former resident of Colorado Springs, passed away last February; but his legacy lives on at the Pikes Peak Library District’s East Library.
“Men like Donald Stratton, who sacrificed everything for our country and asked for nothing in return, are unbelievable examples to everyone in our community, quite frankly,” said Mark Seglum, Treasurer with the Pikes Peak Legacy Heroes Foundation. ....
