KU part of program to train future social workers to recognize domestic violence, share skills
During Domestic Violence Awareness Month, an expert from the School of Social Work describes its efforts to improve prevention and intervention.
The UCF Survivor Link Training Program, which aims to train students in cases of domestic violence, held its first-ever meeting with its social work master’s students Wednesday night.
An ASU program designed to help alumni of the foster care system overcome obstacles to succeed in higher education and a criminal justice course that includes students from ASU campuses and men and women incarcerated at Arizona state correctional facilities will receive the 2022 President’s Medal for Social Embeddedness.
The program will support nine social work students, developing their ability to respond to domestic violence.
