Ventura County adds 3,288 COVID-19 cases over weekend
Ventura County added 3,288 new COVID-19 cases and 17 more deaths over the weekend, authorities reported Monday, while hospitalizations hit another record. The update brings the county's total number of confirmed coronavirus infections to 51,605 since the first local case was reported on March 6. Of that total, 44,152 residents have recovered, according to county public health officials. Another 7,102 residents with active cases remained under quarantine.
