Lifeboat volunteers conduct search at Peveril Ledge near Swanage
Swanage Lifeboat A SEARCH was launched after a diver's marker buoy was found with nothing attached to it. The Swanage D-class inshore lifeboat (ILB) was asked to investigate the surface marker buoy (SMB) that had been seen near Peveril Ledge with no dive boat or other activity in its area at 10.45am yesterday. A spokesman for Swanage RNLI said: "The ILB launched and was very quickly on scene where another vessel had recovered the SMB with nothing attached and no bubbles or other signs seen.
