New bar set to open in Ambleside, creating 20 jobs A new bar is set to open in Ambleside in May, creating 20 jobs. High Spirits Leisure Group is currently carrying out a £500,000 revamp of a building in the old mill yard, next to Bridge House, to create Ambleside Tap Yard. The 160-cover venue will offer craft beers from six 1,000 pint copper tanks from above the bar, and food including pizzas and burgers.
