The bar will be located in a portion of the surface parking lot at 1301 N. Edison St. overlooking the Milwaukee River. Owner Nick Marking hopes that this unique location a few blocks from Fiserv Forum will attract a variety of customers. “With the events we throw and the beer we pour we think that we’ll get a following, being on the river,” said Marking in an interview.

New bar set to open in Ambleside, creating 20 jobs A new bar is set to open in Ambleside in May, creating 20 jobs. High Spirits Leisure Group is currently carrying out a £500,000 revamp of a building in the old mill yard, next to Bridge House, to create Ambleside Tap Yard. The 160-cover venue will offer craft beers from six 1,000 pint copper tanks from above the bar, and food including pizzas and burgers. The venue will also offer a separate takeaway, Ice & Slice, which will offer ice cream, wood-fired pizza slices, retro milkshakes and beverages. The takeaway will have separate outside seating and it is hoped it will open next month.
