Ram Jam: Taryn Seig Is CSU Shot Put Record Holder Senior thrower Taryn Seig is already in the CSU record books. She's the school record holder for the outdoor shot put at 5 feet 2.75 inches — set at the 2019 NCAA West Region Preliminary. Sieg went on to win the Mountain West indoor championship in 2020 in the shot put and weight throw. While she's plenty accomplished in track and field, Sieg also has a number of other athletic hobbies. The Eaton native is also a volleyball coach and country swing dance instructor.
