After just over two years of high drama, Sony Pictures Networks India (now called Culver Max Entertainment) finally declared 'The End' on its merger with Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd (ZEE) on 22 December 2021.
Tata Digital India Fund was launched on December 28, 2015. The size of the fund is ₹9,272 crore. In the past one year, the fund has delivered a return of 31.90 percent while the three-year CAGR return is 20.89 percent.
Feroze Azeez says: “In a year like this one, large and mid cap is going to outperform large cap because there has been a broader market rally unlike the last few years. If the broader market rally continues, which is likely if governance or government continues, mid cap and the broader market should continue the performance.”
According to the firm, if an investor started a monthly SIP of Rs 10,000 in HDFC large and midcap funds five years ago, then today they would have Rs 10.6 lakh.
For Tata Largecap fund, an overweight exposure to financial services and capital goods contributed to the outperformance, says Chandraprakash Padiyar, senior fund manager - equity at the fund house.
