Tayari Appiah has appealed the decision by Eighth Circuit Judge Monica J. Brasington. Brasington wrote that she “cannot find that (Appiah) made a diligent bona fide effort to meet with the Clerk in order to request the qualifying paperwork that he needed to both complete and then timely submit.” Appiah’s attorney, Raemi Eagle-Glenn, filed an appeal but the filling does not cite any specific reasons.
