The governments being urged to take action to stop unpaid carers unwittingly racking up thousands of pounds of debt. Carers are entitled to nearly £82 a week in benefits, but only if they owned less than £151 in take home pay from otherjobs. As a result, many end up owing money after being inadvertently overpaid.
