WATERBURY Watertown resident Hilary Del Obre caught a rare moment of downtime Tuesday inside Technology Hall at Naugatuck Valley Community College.
The second-year NVCC student for the past 16 months has gone to school and lived on her own. She’s also worked as a certified nursing assistant and at a pizzeria to help pay off student debt and apartment rent.
“It’s mentally exhausting,” Del Obre said. “I’m dehydrated and restless, but what else can you do?”
