Temper 30th, my colleague and friend, ali velshi. Members are back on capitol hill this morning, but there does not appear to be a viable deal to keep the federal government funded, and to avoid a costly shutdown. Federal agencies have already notified workers, and prepared Contingency Plans in the event of a shutdown occurs this weekends. That is a possibility that is appearing more and more likely at this late stage. There are just 13 hours left before the end of the fiscal year. Yesterday afternoon, House Republicans tried and failed to pass a Stopgap Measure thats their own members crafted...
