Uhrichsville Council debates income tax issue.
The Times-Reporter Uhrichsville Mayor Mark Haney returned fire in his issue with Council at Thursday night's meeting. At the Nov. 23 meeting, Council President Robert Cottrell read a statement stating that Haney tried to remove the city from an agreement made with Dennison and Claymont Board of Education over the tax income on the Claymont High School. Cottrell stated Haney had acted without council’s knowledge or approval and the agreement stands until council makes a decision otherwise.
