MEA: 10 Indians working as support staff with Russian military returned home: MEA
Ten Indian nationals working as support staff with the Russian military have been released and returned to India, according to the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA). The MEA has been pressing Russia to ensure the return of all other Indian citizens serving in similar positions. After two Indians working in similar roles lost their lives, India last month advised its nationals against taking up such jobs. The Indian government is actively pursuing the case of all Indians serving with the Russian military, working to repatriate those who wish to return home.
