Newcastle Airport has revealed the new safety measures in store for North East holidaymakers - and confirmed when flights will restart to Portugal. The airport has introduced a Ten Point Plan of safety measures which includes over 100 hand sanitiser stations, enhanced cleaning and mandatory face mask wearing for staff and passengers, for which it has achieved two COVID secure accreditations.
