The residential real estate market in Hoover slowed down in 2022 as interest rates climbed, but it’s still a very healthy market, and the prospects look good for the rest of 2023, Realtors and home builders say.
The city had strong economic growth in 2022 and is poised to continue adding new amenities to bolster the quality of life, the mayor said.
The council already in February pre-zoned the property to make way for 120 townhomes and three commercial buildings.
The property is at 5352 U.S. 280, directly across from the Walmart Supercenter.
