Timaru wool scour helping southern charity hospital

“They were having a buy a brick campaign for the hospital, so I thought, ‘we’ve got wool, why not use it?’.”
The #BalesforBlair fundraiser began with farmers, merchants and others around the South Island, including some from South Canterbury, and several from the North Island donating wool.
More than 400 bales have been donated so far, all of which would eventually be scoured free of charge.

The appeal was in memory of Blair Vining, 39, of Winton, who died of terminal bowel cancer in 2019. ....
