Dec 10, 2020 CORTLAND — Christopher J. Ahladis, 53, fell asleep in the Lord on Tuesday, Dec. 8, 2020, at home surrounded by his wife and sister, after battling colon cancer. He was born May 18, 1967, in Warren, the son of the late James and Elizabeth “Betty” Gates Ahladis and was a lifelong area resident. Christopher graduated from Lakeview High School in Cortland in 1985. He served in the Navy from 1985 to 1989 as a hospital corpsman at Naval Hospital San Diego, Marine Corps Base, Camp Pendleton, Calif. and aboard the USS Tuscaloosa-LST 1187.
