At least 22 people were arrested in southeastern Turkey over their suspected links to the PKK/KCK terror group, a security official said on Monday.
This came after prosecutors in the southeastern Diyarbakir province issued arrest warrants for 33 suspects as part of a probe into the terror group's woman branch, said the official on condition of anonymity due to restrictions on speaking to the media.
The suspects were found to have organized illegal organizational meetings and rallies, to draw sympathy for the terrorist group and to attract women to its ranks.

New Delhi: The Uttar Pradesh police’s special task force (STF) has chargesheeted eight people, including Popular Front of India’s students’ wing leader K.A. Rauf Sherif and journalist Siddique Kappan, in a Mathura court on charges of sedition, criminal conspiracy, funding of terror activities and other offences, news reports said.
According to the
New Indian Express, the others named in the chargesheet are Atiqur Rehman, Mohammad Danish, Alam, Masood Ahmad, Feroz Khan and Asad Badruddin. They have been accused of receiving funds to the tune of Rs 80 lakh from financial institutions based in Muscat and Doha for the purpose of creating unrest and riots in Uttar Pradesh.

LAHORE (Dunya News) - Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) has arrested two terrorists from Lahore. The arrested terrorists were planning to target law enforcement agencies.
According to CTD sources, CTD police have arrested two terrorists of a banned outfit in an operation near Mehmood Booti. The terrorists have been identified as Abdul Karim and Abdul Basit.
Both the terrorists have been arrested on a tip-off. The terrorists wanted to target law enforcement agencies. Weapons, explosives and mobile phones were recovered from the two terrorists. The terrorists were shifted to an unknown location by the CTD police for interrogation.

Turkish security forces arrested 35 suspects, including members of an opposition party, as part of operations against the PKK terror group across the country, security sources said Friday.
Anti-terror police in Istanbul launched simultaneous operations in four districts to nab 15 suspects who were sought with warrants for carrying out activities on behalf of the PKK, said the source, on condition of anonymity.
The Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) co-chairs of Kagithane district and a co-chair of Besiktas district were arrested during the operation, the source said.
Ten of the suspects were arrested, while the hunt for the remaining five suspects continues, the source added.

PESHAWAR: Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) on Wednesday foiled a major bid of terrorism and recovered thousands of detonators, safety fuses and prima chord during an action in Ghanta Ghar in the busy urban neighbourhood.
It was learnt that the CTD recovered 30,000 detonators and 560 bags of safety fuses that are used for explosions. An official said the group was planning major sabotage bid that was successfully foiled on the basis of intelligence reports
The agency arrested five accused Yousuf, Suleman, Sahibdad, Nasir and Shakrullah and started investigation after lodging the case. Three of the arrested men are Afghans, one from Bajaur and one from Peshawar.

A 52-year-old man has arrested by detectives investigating the New IRA’s bomb-making activities.
The arrest in Creggan in Derry was part of an operation targeting the dissident group’s bomb making as well as its storage of explosive devices and equipment.
A forensic examination of a house in Derry was also undertaken.
PSNI Detective Chief Superintendent Raymond Murray, who is head of Serious Crime Branch, described Thursday morning’s police operation as a “significant development”.

The 27-year-old man was charged with threatening to kill people at the Al Noor and Linwood mosques just ahead of the second anniversary of the terror attack that killed 51 people at the two city mosques on March 15, 2019.

Sindh Information Minister Nasir Hussain Shah condemned on Tuesday the attack on Pakistan Rangers personnel in Orangi Town a day prior and stated that the chief minister has directed the Sindh IGP and Karachi police chief to increase patrolling in the metropolis to avoid such incidents.
Anti-state elements will be dealt with severely, said Shah, while briefing the media on the Sindh Cabinet’s decisions on Tuesday.
The crime rate in Karachi had drastically fallen due to the sacrifices of law enforcement agencies including the police,Pakistan Rangers Sindh and others, said Shah.
