The owner of five North Shuswap water utilities has started the process to hand them over to the Columbia-Shuswap Regional District. Terry Speed, who was in court earlier this year for missing deadlines on safety improvements to his Anglemont utility, submitted a letter last week to the CSRD indicating he wanted to transfer ownership, said the regional district water services co-ordinator.
