Its indeed an honor to stand before you to discuss the state of our state and the work that were all going to do to make life better for all hoosiers. And im going to get right to the point. Thanks to the energy, ingenuity and hard work of hoosiers all over our state, the state of our state is stronger than ever. [ applause ] the economic numbers are compelling. Since i first took this body glum 2017, our Unemployment Rate has dropped to 3. 2 , a 19year low, lower than the National Average and lower than every state we touch.
