Warrington couple celebrate diamond wedding anniversary
A COUPLE who met at the Parr Hall in 1957 are celebrating their diamond wedding anniversary. Jean and Derek Garner, who live in Latchford, met at a Saturday dance when Jean was 17 and Derek was 19. They became engaged in August 1960 and later that year found themselves a house in Wordsworth Avenue, where they still live today.
