Second Saturday in Northern Liberties: Artists at Work event on Nov. 12 includes art demonstrations

Northern Liberties is bringing back its semi-annual art crawl, Artists At Work, from 4-6 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 12. Nineteen artists will set up pop-up demonstrations at venues throughout the neighborhood. The free event includes a performance from the Almanac Dance Circus Theater and an interactive sculpture booth from The Clay Studio.

The Clay Studio opens new building in South Kensington

The Clay Studio opened its new home at 1425 N. American St. in South Kensington on Friday. The new four-story, building will feature expanded studio space for resident artists and additional classrooms for adult arts education and youth after-school programs. More than 600 pieces of art from the organization's permanent collection will also be on display for the first time.
