to 21! points with two runs to go. sonny colbrelli battled his way through the rain and mud and conquered the cobbles of northern france to win the men's paris—roubaix cycle race. it's nicknamed the hell of the north, and you can see why. gianni moscon was leading the race when this happened. and although he got back on his bike, he was overtaken by a three—man group including race favourite mathieu van der pole. but colbrelli came out on top in a very tired sprint finish in the roubaix velodrome — the first italian winner this century and a very emotional one. look at that, i don't think he is bothered at all about the mud. congratulations to sally colbrelli. we will see you next time.
