Teachers union has been able to get for its members. here's how the numbers stack up right now. 5.5% of the salaries go for pensions. and under a law just signed by governor christie, teachers will pay 1.5% of their salaries for health plans. that is new. the governor also has a list of 33 other proposals that he wants to try and change some of the union work rules, that includes trying to curb the amount that people cash in for unused vacations or sick time, as well as letting towns furlough public employees if they have an economic crunch jon: what does the union say about what vist see doin...
