New york has 95 votes and three rnc committee members. if all three members agree on a replacement candidate, say they got behind vice presidential candidate, mike pence, he would get all 95 votes. if they those a different candidate, then those 95 votes end up being split. they are vague about how they would be split, but they will be split. this process repeats in every state in the nation. a replacement needs to get a majority to be the nominee. again, rnc members telling cnn today, this couldn't work because early voting is already started in some states and donald trump is on the ballots....
