Two people criticized the proposed downtown revitalization plans during the Loudonville council meeting on May 1.
A motion to apply COVID relief funds for street repairs in Loudonville failed by a 3-2 vote.
“It is the village position that mutual aid is a voluntary action of each party,” said attorney Thom Gilman. “We don’t have contracts for mutual aid."
A $164 donation, approved by Loudonville Village Council gives the Mohican Area Community Fund funds to cover its pledges for the 2023 campaign.
