The wildfire had doubled in size between the time it was spotted to when a plane dumped 4,000 gallons of water on it in the late afternoon Saturday. Additional resources were expected to be needed as evacuations were underway.

The fire was 15% contained as of Tuesday. Only an outhouse had been destroyed.
