Urmston boxing champion Rick King's next big challenge
URMSTON’S Rick King is taking on the ‘Three Stone Challenge’ to raise funds for Sepsis UK. Rick, who lost his mother to the condition is not only trying to raise awareness of this cause but is also going to step back into the boxing ring, after his weight loss challenge., for the first time in many years. He said: “I am doing the ‘Three Stone Challenge’ and climbing back into the ring one last time. I am 47 years old now and a former North West amateur champion and an ABA finalist. I lost my mum last year to sepsis and cancer”.
