Ethanol Production at Three-Week Low, Inventories Hit Lowest Since November Ethanol output plunged to a three-week low in the seven days that ended on April 9, according to the Energy Information Administration. Production of the biofuel dropped to an average of 941,000 barrels a day last week, down from 975,000 barrels the previous week, the EIA said in a report.
