Fly-tipping in Ryedale has increased by almost 50 since last year, new figures show.
A group which helps keep Malton and Norton tidy has reported a 'successful' year after collecting over 540 bags of litter.
The challenge is on for residents in Ryedale to join forces as part of the #Big Bag Challenge.
MALTON and Norton Tidy Group has collected over 500 bags of litter, from across the community over the past year. The Tidy Group’s activities have been impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic with group meet-ups being restricted and some established volunteers deciding not to get involved due to self-isolating.
