Bald eagle seen in winter weather on Pennsylvania live camera
Get a look at a bald eagle nest in Hanover, Pennsylvania during the winter storm sweeping across the country. This is one of our most popular live cameras, HDOnTap Co-Founder Tiffany Sears said. Since 2015, viewers have enjoyed over 40 million hours of 24-7, live HD video and audio from the nest, as well as daily time-lapse clips on screens worldwide.
The last two seasons have been tough ones for the eagles at the Hanover nest. No chicks have hatched in either. The bald eagles at the livestreamed nest near Codorus State Park at Hanover, York County, are now tending a pair of recently laid eggs.
The female laid her second eggs at about 5:15 p.m. Friday, after having laid the first egg of 2021 last Tuesday afternoon.
They are the earliest known eggs for that nest.
In 2020, after producing and eating a non-viable second egg on February 18, the eagles at Hanover continued their attempt to hatch their first egg, which was laid on February 13, until March 29, when one of the adults ate the apparently non-viable egg.

A black bear den in Monroe County is the focus of the latest 24-7 livestream from the Pennsylvania Game Commission, HDOnTap and Comcast Business.
The livestream, which can be accessed through the commission’s website, originates from the same bear dean under the deck of a cabin that the agency livestreamed 2 years ago, and the adult bear hibernating there could be the same one.
Female black bears typically breed and have cubs every 2 years. Based on sounds picked up in the den, it’s believed the adult bear in the livestream is with at least one cub.
